My Recipe: Chocolate cake

I love to cook and baking, and I've seen many people make yummy cake by her/his own, today, I want to try it, and it's so successful! (At least it tasted like heaven!)

Here is how!

Ingredients:
4 eggs
2/3 cup Anchor butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
150 g chocolate
100 g brown flour
100 g milk powder

Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree
  2. Use regular spray and dust with flour
  3. Place 4 eggs, granulated sugar and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer (or by hand work! ) on low speed until all ingredient are incorporated.
  4. Then increase mixer speed to medium and beat the mixture lightens and is smooth.

  5.  Double-boiling chocolate and batter until all melt
  6. Mix 2 ingredient to smooth (wet ingredient)
  7.  Mix dry ingredient (flour & milk powder) and pour into wet ingredient with slow speed mixing
  8.  Pour batter into Bundt pad then pour the mixture into it about 60% full (leave the space for rising)
  9.  Bake on middle rack for 20-30 mins or until the top of the cake are light golden brown

    Keep Move On

Inspired by sentence & motion, plus a lovely song!

Those sentence are quoted from Y2009, U.S. President election, one candidate, John Edwards quitted from pre-election. He might be criticized for some behavior, but those words I do love to keep in mind.

Do not turn away from these great struggles before us.
Do not give up on the causes that we have fought for.
Do not walk away from what's possible, because it's time for all of us,
all of us together, to make two America one.

As I search relevant website, and I find this beautiful site with a lovely song, and I wanna share it!

Damaged Plants Could Spew Range Of Emissions #WSJ

The technology can be good and bad, depends on how to use it, should we consider nature power for the future seriously!

    For all information from WSJ

A damaged nuclear power plant can release a range of radioactive materials: some relatively harmless, others more dangerous.

The process that splits uranium using high heat creates more than 100 new chemicals, said Joseph Mangano, executive director of nonprofit Radiation and Public Health Project, which researches the effects of radiation on public health.

In a total meltdown, several radioactive gases are released on the less-toxic end of the spectrum, including nitrogen-16, tritium and krypton. Each of these gases is light and tends to dissipate quickly, posing little danger to humans, said Kirby Kemper, a nuclear physicist at Florida State University.

Nitrogen-16 decays quickly and becomes stable oxygen. Krypton gas also is very light and would get released into the atmosphere and dissipate quickly.

Tritium gas is low-energy and has a half-life of 12 years. When it decays, it becomes a stable form of helium. Half-life is the time it takes one-half of the atoms of a radioactive material to disintegrate.

The most dangerous emissions in a meltdown enter the body through inhalation, ingestion or absorption through the skin. If the core of a nuclear reactor melts down completely, many of the extremely dangerous radioactive substances -- such as uranium and other heavy metals -- would drop to the bottom of the containment vessel and not be spewed into the air. They would have to be cleaned up by nuclear-hazard crews.

Far more worrying are several radioactive chemicals released as particles about one-quarter the size of a grain of sand. These include iodine-131, strontium-90 and cesium-137. Some of these chemicals are especially dangerous to humans because they mimic substances the body naturally uses, such as iodine, and are readily incorporated into the body's tissues.

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, radioactive iodine can disperse rapidly in air and water under the right conditions. However, iodine-131 has a short half-life of eight days, which means it will decay away completely in the environment in a matter of months.

Radioactive iodine can enter the body by ingestion or inhalation. It can settle on grass where cows might eat it and pass it to humans through their milk. It may also settle on leafy vegetables or become concentrated in marine and freshwater fish, which people will then consume, the EPA says.

Strontium-90 has a half-life of 29.1 years. Because it behaves chemically like calcium, it tends to concentrate in the bones and teeth.

Strontium-90 mainly enters the body through food and water, and its ingestion has been linked to bone cancer, cancer of the soft tissue near the bone, and leukemia.

Cesium-137, with a half-life of 30 years, is another dangerous substance emitted in a full-scale nuclear meltdown. It may be ingested with food and water, or inhaled as dust. Exposure increases the risk of cancer.

Despite these dangers, the specter of a scenario as bad as Chernobyl is unlikely in Japan, Dr. Kemper said.

The nuclear core in many newer reactors, including the ones in Japan, is enclosed by a steel containment vessel.

Coolgeex, for custom designed signature on iPhone

On the latest CNET Apply Byte podcast, Brain shows a website can make custom signature using on iPhone, I've made one, just like this.

One more thing to be addressed, since this custom designed require to make a home screen short cut (as 1st pic, a icon for "Mail Sign"), that means all your mail sent through safari, the format complete like mail, but the mail you sent didn't archive in your mail account.

Here is introduction from CNET Apply Byte, for how to set up, enjoy it.

    Swift Stylus mini

Using iPad on working is really convenience, there are some really great app help iPad turn to one of the most useful tool. One app I recently download is called "Penultimate",  it could let me draw/write anything I want as like writing on paper, then save as a document.

Penultimate on App store Download it

But I used to write by finger, I have to admit that my finger not that thin as a pen, sometimes it bothers me that I have to write words larger & event hard to draw a chat, so I decide to find a stylus instead.

Here is a mini pen I found, it has soft nib like made by rubber, it's so small just a thumb high, can easy put it on aside of headphone pocket.

It cost US$ 14, friendly price, and it's sensitive and really works fine on capacitive touch screen.

This is not the best stylus I've used with laptop, but since iPad is made for mobile, I think this little stuff is good enough.

Special exotic restaurant & iPhone app, Camera+

It's close to Chinese New Year about 1 week remain, and me and friend love to get together to celebrate coming new year or just told about how's everyone resolution this year or so...

We also love to choose some special store with exotic atmosphere, food, etc...,
OK, that's enough, I actually wanna introduction one of my favorite app on iPhone, and it can let you shot beautiful picture no matter of food/view/people!

    Camera+  on iTunes store

iPhone 4 with 5-megapixel camera, it's really good to use taking picture more beautiful, but sometimes I do really wanna adjust those just shotted pictures then publish on twitter or facebook, this app is more useful to do that.

As you can see on introduction page, Camera+ provide tens of option to adjust pictures from camera or photo folder, only one thing that I wanna this app could be upgraded is, I can only use one of those effect each time (not include chop), most of those effect are focus on color changed, it will be great if I can mix some effect on my picture.

Once the picture shotted, it will automate make photo raw then I can continue take pictures then adjust them all later.

Click on Edit then shows effect categories, choose one then enter next level choice.

it's very easy use app with powerful function, and also with very "friendly" price, really recommend it!
